7 Year old House - Is there a way to find if NHBC Claims have ever been made

Hello All,
This is my first time here, we (myself and my wife) are first time buyers and have just had our offer accepted on a property that was built approximately 7 year back. We've secured mortgage on it as well where the lender did a Level 1 Survey on the property and passed it up.
So my question is, as I've been informed by the Estate Agent that there is still 3.5 years (approx) of NHBC warranty on the property, is there a way if we can somehow find out if any claims have been made by the Sellers in the past?
Also, secondly, as the mortgage lender has done a basic Level 1 survey on the property before approving the mortgage offer, Do we really need a Level 2 Survey on a 7 year old property? It's approx £500 in cost, so do we really need to get one since it's a very new build or should we are better off without it. Any help or experiences would be a great help.
Thank you all and looking forward to some helpful tips

You don't really need any survey.
It's up to you whether you think the information / peace of mind / identification of things that might need extra maintenance you would get from a survey is worth the price.

Why are you asking? Has someone suggested to you that that's a normal thing to check? (it isn't) Or is there something in particular which has flagged concern?racebennon said:

Nothing has been flagged, I just wanted to ensure if there has been any works ever required on the property, it's more for peace of mind and earlier information regarding the property. It's just that it's my first property and I want as much info about it as possible. Hope it makes any sense and I don't sound too paranoid 😂0

What happened when you asked the sellers, through their solicitor or EA? That to me would be the first step. You may be telling people that you are a slightly paranoid FTB. When I was a paranoid FTB, I would apologise for being excessively careful, but point out that I'm a FTB. I don't know how many face-palms that generated among others, but I got my answers.racebennon said:Nothing has been flagged, I just wanted to ensure if there has been any works ever required on the property, it's more for peace of mind and earlier information regarding the property.
