Just reading the terms and conditions for a faulty item I need to return for replacement or repair and it states
within 28 days postage will be refunded but after 28 days postage will not be refunded.

Is that correct?

Another fly in the ointment is that I collected it originally.  The savings made and a couple of other visits along the
way made it viable to collect. Going to be a couple of months before I can do the trip again, still well within the
warranty but I will need to collect it again when repaired which maybe a fair while.

It's a restricted item with many couriers with limited insurance.   :(

Thanks.

    Generally nope, however

the trader only has to cover return costs from the place you took physical possession so if you collected from say their shop and it needs to go back to the same shop they wouldn't have to cover the return anyway :)

Thank's as expected regarding the collection. Going to try a few other sellers and see if anyone is willing to arrange a warranty repair
on something they did not sell initially.   Expecting a "we would love to help but sadly cannot in this case".

    Who is the wrranty from?

Normally you would contact the manufacturer if the warranty is from them.

Manufacturer is not in the UK, unless the stores have their own technicians the product needs to be shipped back to the
manufacturer which is a pain but one of those things.  The store I purchased it from do not have technicians.
