Have not yet replied to that email - should I respond asking the above questions re: landowners and responsibility as well as the government guidelines?

I don't want to publicly identify the trust/hospital as it will probably trace back to me.

You may as well, the landowner is jointly and severally liable, the guidelines say that the trust has that responsibility, so I fail to see how they can possibly believe otherwise, if its their land. ?

A letter to the CEO from your newly elected MP may ruffle some feathers

Keeping us in the dark is your prerogative but you are tying our hands behind our backs if you are going to withhold valuable information, so your choice

Do you think SABA have only ever issued the one parking ticket then?   :)
    A small hospital is it?

:D fair enough, its Sheffield Teaching Hospitals, Northern General Hospital.

I'll email back and mention the above. Will contact my MP if I don't get any luck!

I can't believe that they aren't the landowner or didn't sign the SABA contract, especially not since they reintroduced parking charges 3 years ago, plenty of information on a Google search

Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust , seems to be in NHS England to me. ! The guidelines clearly state that its their responsibility so they would be fools to deny it

I suspect that they lied or couldn't be a***** to take it any further ! They were certainly economical with the truth and clearly do not take the words of their government bosses seriously

They are fobbing you off. They must think you are a mug. Do you really expect to be treated like that?

Ask them who is the monkey and who is the organ-grinder in their contractual relationship with SABA.

Still denying they have responsibility despite pushing.

    Will speak to my MP

Alternatively is it worth contacting SABA and asking them to honour the initial fee of £30 given I never received the initial ticket/letter? Or would that be admitting fault.

I know it's a bit of a copout but tbh at this point just want it to go away

If the only other option is fighting it at court then I'll have to do that as I'm not paying £170 to go to work and do my job...

Definitely not, they will want the full amount, plus it could be construed as an admission

Any offers like that should be headed

Without prejudice save as to costs

So if you do try it, be careful
