hi all, last month i opened a virgin current acc, with no overdraft which i have not asked for
now today i am getting a report saying that virgin are now reporting my account to CRA
that i am not fussed about as it will like the rest of my file be ran correctly
i just didnt think the bank would report this as its a basic current account ?

They are probably reporting that it exists, not that there's a debt on it.0

Almost all accounts show up in your credit history and will show that you aren't using an overdraft but very little else. Nothing to worry about unless you get into an overdraft by mistake and are unable to clear it.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe, Old Style Money Saving and Pensions boards. I had a basic account with Santander way back when, and even that was reported to my credit files. As above it isn't really an issue - it's just reporting that the account exists and if you look closely it should say that it has a limit of £0 with a usage of £0.0
