Ring Go App...wrong Location (my fault) but unable to contact Euro Car Parks

Hi all
Hope someone could offer me some advice please.
Parked in Portsmouth yesterday and and parked in Station Street Car Park. The payment machine was not working so downloaded the RingGo App and paid for 2 hours.
Left the car park and and went back to the same car park later and paid again using the App. then noticed that the earlier payment was for Station Street (Location 1544) where it should have paid for Station Street Car Park (Location 683447)
Tried to contact Euro Car Parks to 'explain' my mistake and to see if they will send me a PCN. Called ECP and got an automatic message saying they could not discuss PCNs over the phone, so then completed an online contact form them got a response referring me to either terms and conditions !
I am now predicting they will send a PCN but the big problem is I am away from my home address for the next 6 weeks on a placement. So my question is there a way of checking if a PCH is issued. I am ok to pay a charge as it was my mistake but obviously would rather pay the reduced charge (not sure the time scales for getting a PCN and the time to pay it reduced amount) Obviously will then put the whole experience down to lessons leant !
Thank you very much for any comments and your time.
Kind regards
Tiggy

Too much use of the word 'I' there.
Did your email to ECP use phrases like "I parked..."?1 -
Correction : my second attempt to contact them was via an online contact form (rather than email) Can't remember how many times that phases was used !0

The good thing is, they may well send a duff NTK suggesting your car was there for several hours/all day because ANPR operates on 'first seen in last seen out' images in 24 hours, by default.
WAIT for it to arrive.
If I am right, then it will be easy to debunk because a PCN must only be issued for a 'single period of parking' and you visited twice. They won't be able to see the first payment, so ECP will think you just paid very late for one long stay.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Hi Coupon-Mad
Many thanks for your informative reply and I really appreciate you taking the time to reply.
Just to confirm ;
Parked in Car Park A (11:30am to 2.30pm) but paid for Car Park B (Same road name : but Car Park A was a Car Park run by Euro Car Park and Car Park B was on street parking run by Portsmouth District Council) then left Car Park A
Returned and parked in Car Park A (3.07pm to 5.07pm) and this time paid correctly for Car Park A
So would your scenario still apply in view of 2 different owners ie ECP and Portsmouth City Council.
Really appreciate the help and advice.
Thank you very much
