July 15th marks Give Something Away Day. We're paying it forward this July: if you give something away for free on Gumtree, you can enter our competition to win a £300 cash prize.

We’re asking each of you to give away one item for free this July, and we’re ready to pay it forward when you do. Every user who lists an item in our Freebies category this July (and includes a hashtag we can track) will be entered in a prize draw to win a £300 cash prize! (Not to mention that Good Find Feeling you’ll get from helping out a neighbour, that’s something money can’t buy).

How to enter
> List one item on Gumtree in our ‘freebies’ category over the month of July.
> Include #GivingItAway in the description.

Entries open from 01.07.24 – 31.07.24.
Open only to UK residents who are over 18.
Entries to be valid must list an item for sale in the Freebies category on Gumtree.com and in the listing’s description include the hashtag #GivingItAway.
The competition is not associated with Facebook, Instagram or Twitter.
One winner, to be chosen at random, will win a £300 cash prize. Full T&Cs apply.
