I had a fire recently and it damaged several items. 2 items being within my shed an bike and Tumble dryer.
Regarding the bike they've offered an voucher of the value of a bike which looks similar spec so am happy with this, though should I be accepting their first offer?
However regarding the Tumble Dryer I'm more than happy with their replacement model they've picked. However I don't really require an tumble dryer (very seldomly use it) hence why it was being stored in my shed, do you think I could ask for a voucher or preferably cash for the value of the Tumble dryer? Also until the shed is replaced(which is a different issue) I don't have anywhere to store it.

You can definitely ask.
A cash offer is likely to be less because they will get a discount on bulk buying vouchers (or appliances) but that may still be more convenient for you.0 -

You're not selling a used car.
And you can't just negotiate by saying "nope, give me more", it would be by pointing out that the offer is incorrect for a particular reason, like the wrong spec.0 -
