Bought concert tickets on credit card. Can’t go. Any way to reclaim

As a huge treat I bought myself vip tickets to a concert. The night before we are informed my father in law is end of life and so can’t go. With tickets, travel and accommodation it’s just over 1k. I don’t suppose there is any way I’ll get anything back? Just thought I’d ask, in case.

Only if you can show they have breached the terms of your agreements or you bought insurance.0

If you purchased travel insurance you may be able to claim on the basis of serious illness of a close relative.

Yeah the concert organisers and travel operators havent done anything wrong, this is change of mind (albeit under sad circumstances), only your travel insurance will be able to help you if you cant resell any of the elements of the trip you have bought (assuming this is allowed).
Depending on the transport booked you may be able to get a partial refund of some kind on that.0
