JPMC current account

I've just had a notice of a new account being added to my credit file next month.
Has anyone any idea who they are? I can only assume one of my old debts has been bought and they are trying to put in on my credit file.
I certainly haven't opened any new bank accounts so have no idea what it is until I get full detail after the next monthly update.
Oh the joys of sorting it all out again.

No,I have a Chase bank account. Currently it is only reported on one CRA so looks like they are reporting to more now.
That puts my mind at ease.3 -
Happened to me too Good to know its Chase but they could have warned us as been with them for 18 months now4

I’ve literally just seen the same thing on my credit score and got worried, so I came straight here.
I’ve also had a Chase account for well over a year now so I’m relieved to know that’s all it is, but they should have informed us first.2 -
It may be, as has been said, that they have only just begun reporting to all CRAs.
I'm not sure that it's something they should "warn" anyone about, current accounts on a credit report are a routine appearance.2021 Decluttering Awards: ⭐⭐🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇 2022 Decluttering Awards: 🥇

It will most likely state within their account terms and conditions that they may report to more than one credit reference agency, which would mean no further customer notification would be necessary.
It is as Floss says, routine for a bank to do this.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards. I have this and I recently opened a Chip bank account, I also have Chase but is reported as Chase.Debt £7976 | Savings £350Aims: Buy first home 2026-8. £20k deposit0

Chase say they have just started reporting to Equifax, so if you are seeing JPMC on ClearScore, or other Equifax reports, this is probably the reason. They have already been reporting to TransUnion and will report to Experian in the future3

I also have a message on ClearScore today about a new account with JPMC. Was worried my details had been hacked. I also have a Chase account and a Chip account. Thanks everyone for putting my mind at rest.0
