PLEASE HELP- i purchased a sofa from Scs nearly six months ago and i am struggling to keep the fibre filled cushions plump as Scs say it is just like plumping the pillows on your bed, this is untrue and very misleading as i did my purchase online, they can not see that i am older and have back problems, they sent a technician out and he just said they are doing what they do and would not recomend fibre filled cushions, i have had a quote to change the cushions to foam but these would be much too firm for me, i no longer sit on my very expensive sofa as i dont want to ruin it.

Fibre filled cushions tend to be very comfy/squishy to sit on initially, but after a while you will find they sag where you regularly sit on them. As with most things better quality ones will last longer. You can plump them up but it will normally only work to a point.
Feather filled need plumping every day right from the start, but should plump up quite nicely.
You can get Feather and fibre mix and even feather and fibre mix with a foam core to aid resilience.
We have these but they are still not great and have had to be replaced twice.
Foam is firm but some will be firmer than others, do SCS offer more than one foam type ?
