CCJs - different to listed credit card balance?

Hi everyone. I was just reviewing my credit report on Credit Karma and noticed a CCJ listed (not unexpected). What is confusing me is if the CCJ is the same as one of the two (defaulted) credit card balances I also have on the report, which show as different balances to the CCJ. I pay the two credit cards monthly, and believed the CCJ to be for one of the two credit cards, but if the balance is different, does it mean I have a third debt somewhere? Or does the CCJ balance just take longer to update? Who is best to contact to query the CCJ debt, as I am concerned now that I am not paying it! It is quite an old debt that I believed was being paid monthly, but now I am not so sure. Hope all that makes sense.... In summary - will the CCJ debt also appear in the credit card debt section, or are they completely separate?

They are separate sections and the ccj section will show the amount that the judgement is for, including court fees and solicitor costs.

The same debt will appear in the cards section until 6 years after the default date. You should find the balance changed to reflect the costs of the judgement, but it is here that any payments you make will reduce the balance

The court claim would have said what that was for, and you should always respond to a court claim. You should resond at the stage before that, which is the letter before action that comes witj a standard form and 30-day limit.

In your case I'd wait to see if anyone writes

The CCJ only shows what the judgement was for and if it's now settled or not. If you are paying down on a payment plan then the amount the judge ordered you to pay in total won't be changed downwards.
