Castle Hill Hospital Hull

On the 17th of June 2024 I attended an appointment at the hospital. Parking payment is via an app and you pay on exit, which I did. I can see the payment on my Banking App.
A PCN was sent out on 25/6/24saying; Failed to obtain a permit in accordance with notified terms.
I appealed to show I had paid two minutes before exiting the car park. I sent them a screenshot of the payment on the app Three days later I received a letter informing me on this occasion my appeal had failed as I did not "register my car"- am I supposed to register in the Hospital as well as pay to park? According to the hospital, you should register on the iPad only if you have a Blue Badge I do Not. Who needs all this stress when you`re already stressed enough at needing a hospital visit? Not sure what to do now?

Was it one of the barrier controlled car parks? If so, the fact that the barrier raised to let you exit is clear evidence that payment had been made for the vehicle. I would complain to PALS.

According to their website you did everything correctly, and you cannot get out unless payment is made:
- A camera will read your number plate as you drive into our car park.
- You will need to "pay on exit" before returning to your car.
- When you reach the exit, the barrier will lift as long as you have paid.
Have you complained to PALS?Who are the scammers that manage this car park?Have you read the newbies thread on here?

I think it sounds like a keying error (typo when entering the numberplate).

Lovely. Easy to beat on appeal.
You know what not to say, from when you read NEWBIES PLEASE READ THESE FAQS FIRST, before you posted the thread. Very simple one! As long as you DON'T appeal about the story of who parked the car.
How are you getting on with the PALS complaint, as explained in every hospital parking charge thread?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
