Just had a call from these guys. They claim that we may be entitled to gov assistance to upgrade/maintain our PV system.
What's strange is not only that we are on the highest FIT and receive no gov benefits, but that this is seemingly a requirement for this assistance, or certainly no hindrance. Hmm.
They would pay to replace an inverter, for example (damn - missed that by 6 months...), or help to add batteries; that's something I'd consider, but it would depend on the cost.
Anyhoo, the company that's going to call round is 'Trusted Home Solutions'. I fully expect any 'gov assistance' to be minimal, in which case it's a non-starter, but has anyone else had experience of either group?
    Thanks.
I worked at this call centre for a few days before I couldn't deal with it anymore. can't spend my life scamming old folks which is what they have you doing. It's a horrible place with the managers running around screaming at you and their all of their heads.,They fake being national energy and then hand the phone over the desk to someone else at trusted homes. There's no way I'd let them in my house and if your mum and dad get a call from them, good luck to yous.

Sounds scammish, no such Department as National Energy!
I'm ok with telling folk 'non', but don't want my time wasted if it really ain't going to be worthwhile. A warning bell was that they'd need my wife there, too, as joint home-owner. V
If it's a scam I'd be happy to waste their time if it helps stop someone else getting scammed in that time
