Afternoon all, just catching up, I've been out all morning.First I had a health check at the doctors, things seem ok but my BP was a bit raised so I have to do a weeks worth of readings. I walked there but caught the bus into town to go on the market afterwards for some veg and then some salmon fillets, which shocked me when they handed them over and said £19. Admittedly they were quite big pieces. I've cut them in half so we can get 2 meals out of it! I'll use some tonight and freeze the others for another time.

Marie,I'm so sorry about DHs health, sounds like you've had an awful time (((hugs)))

DS2 rang to say he'd  call on his way to take DGS to school, he'd left his schoolbag in our car, so I hastily washed his packed lunch box and filled his water bottle up just before they got here. I'll see them later.

Coxy, I'll give you a wave when you go to Lancs. The boundary is just up the road but thanks to reorganisation we are now classed as G Manchester, but I'll always be a Lancashire lass
