I opened a Trading 212 ISA last week and successfully made 3 transfers from my Kroo account using bank transfers. The money went into the ISA same day.  On Friday I made 2 more bank transfers before7.30am l q, but this time from my barclays account, however, although it was debited immediately still hasn't arrived in my ISA (it says it can take 3 working days to be credited).  When should I expect it to arrive?
Thanks

What did Trading 212 say when you spoke to them?

Sam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:

People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.

Have you double checked that you've used the correct account number and reference?

Multiple payments to a new account can trigger a security hold on the transfers, so if you got the account details correct this is the most likely reason for the delay. Different banks have different approaches to this, so perhaps Barclays is more cautious than Kroo. The money may be released automatically or you might need to speak to Barclays to get them to release the funds.

Thankyou all,  Barclays have confirmed the sort code and account number are correct ṭo the account the money was transferred to, however I didn't put a reference number down.   Just waiting for Trading 212 to get back to me via email.

That's probably the reason for delay, if you didn't enter the reference number

It will get there eventually - might just take a bit of time. Worst case it will be sent back to Barclays. You won't lose the money.

I've already started to switch from barclays.  Switch should be complete by Wednesday 17th July 😟
