Double Default for one debt?

Hi all,
I am on the tracks to become debt free (As most of us are).
I got into a lot of trouble when we had to liquidate our business (Although thats left me with 140K worth of directors loans to pay back as we allowed a poor accountancy firm to terribly mis-advise) anyway, we struggled and got a lof of defaults.
I have restructured a lot of payments and tried to get iva's but they wouldn't touch us with the liquidation debt looming so I have just worked triple hard and have paid back 40k of debt, paid off the car finance and now am only 29K left to pay back to be personally debt free (Along with the wife whos debt I am paying back turbo style)
Now, sorry for the journal but one of the debts was Pulse card by Amazon for just under £700. They defaulted me on my file and then Link Financial who bought the debt also defaulted me a second time.
I have since cleared that debt in one swoop but the Pulse default is £0 and Link haven't updated to say the debt is settled yet so do I have any chance of getting one of them removed or am i stuck with a double default?
Cheers

The first debt should be marked as closed/paid, the second should have the same date of default as the first, you should not have 2x defaults
Sam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:
People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.

These are the ones showing (Link and Pulse are the same debt)
I paid Link and Creation off in full last month so hoping they will be updated this month.

One default, two entries, one by the original creditor showing a zero balance, one by the new owner showing outstanding balance.
If you have paid this, then it will show with the update.
As above, both entries default dates should be the same.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards.
