Problems with new Triodos Debit Card

A few weeks ago I received a new debit card for my Triodos bank account. I mainly use my debit card for withdrawing cash and paying off my credit card with Barclaycard.
Unfortunately every time I try to make a payment to Barclaycard with the new debit card I authenticate it via the Triodos online banking and get approved there but then on returning to the Barclaycard website the payment gets rejected.
I have contacted Triodos and they say that my card needs to "learn my behaviour" and that the number of rejections will "gradually decrease over time" but they cannot give any time frame for when this will occur and have offered no solutions.
I was wondering if anyone else had experienced problems like this with their new debit card from Triodos?

Did you find a resolution yourself?Thanks!Yes I managed to get a resolution. My problems eventually got escalated to a formal complaint and then I was told that it was a problem with the new debit cards they have issued. They appear to have fixed the problem, at least for now.

I tried today and it now doesn't even get to the stage of authenticating with the Triodos app. Instead, at the stage of trying to make the payment in the Barclaycard app, I get a message that the payment is rejected by the card provider.
However, DD went though, so personal not to fussed. Happy to wait for them to eventually resolve this rather than chase Triodos/Barclaycard personally0 -

Also late replying, sorry, but yes I have had the same issue - trying to pay two other banks' credit card accounts with my new Triodos Visa card. Since early July, and still happening now. "Invalid card number" error.
I asked Triodos about it in July and they said it was that the credit card companies hadn't updated their Visa databases with "the new numbers" and that they would ask them to do so. I found the problem still happening after a month so I asked the credit card company what gives; they said it wasn't to do with them. I have re-contacted Triodos to try to get them to sort the problem once and for all.
I must say it's quite eye-opening that everyone has had a different reason given by Triodos.0 -
Sorry to hear about this.My query was escalated to a complaint (by Triodos not myself). As soon as this happened, it got resolved fairly quickly. It might be worth trying this.0

I must say it's quite eye-opening that everyone has had a different reason given by Triodos.Triodos is correct; this is a problem which comes up whenever a new BIN (first 6 digits of card number) range is used.You should complain to your credit card company. Their lists of acceptable BINs are proprietary, arbitrary and often wont be updated until someone kicks up a fuss about it.0
