Car Renewal - Missing Info

My car insurance renewal has just come in and I’ve noticed some me missing info 

I have a minor conviction from 2021 that isn’t spent and I’ve noticed this was not on the renewal nor was it on this last years policy despite me declaring it. (Yes, I should have checked this)

Obviously I will need to make sure this is on this years policy but if I tell them is there any risk of them cancelling the rest of the policy, possibly making a renewal even harder? 

Renewal quote was £450, best quote on the comparison sites with the conviction is £1150 😳

It will depend on the conviction and wether it is something they would have covered anyway 
if they would have covered it and it was a genuine mistake they may charge the extra cost. 

You definitely need to speak to them because if anything were to happen in the mean time. They are within their rights to not provide cover leaving you on the hook for any costs

Insurers are much more lenient on those that raise an issue themselves than those the insurers themselves find the problem on. 

Your main issue will be if they wouldn't have provided cover had you declared the conviction.

I called Aviva today and pleased to say the conviction has caused no issue with the policy and it’s being renewed at the quote price of £450🙂
