Hello,
Im in the final steps of sorting my DRO application with a financial advisor. I have 2 device plans and an airtime plan with Vodafone that I am unable to pay and was told these can be included in my DRO. I have since got a sim only contract through another provider. The financial advisor has asked me to contact Vodafone and get both device plans cancelled so the remaining balance can be included in the DRO (airtime has already been cancelled) however Vodafone keep telling me they cannot cancel the device plans and the only way they can be cancelled if the full payment has been made- is this correct? so now im unsure if these can be included or not if they aren’t willing to cancel the plans? if anyone could help with advice that would be great.

The device plan is just another credit agreement, just stop paying it and include it in your dro. Vodafone will be misunderstanding what you are asking them. They would only close the account upon full payment.0

Financial advisor?? who are you talking to about a DRO ?
As above, its just another credit agreement and should be treated like any other debt you are including.
You can`t cancel them, you just stop paying them.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards.
