Health episode after buying insurance, before travel

Third Anniversary First Post
For some years now we've had travel insurance as part of a package with our bank account. We pay an extra premium due to my wife's transient ischemic attack five years ago. At the beginning of the year we renewed cover for a trip in May, and booked a week's holiday in October.
Three weeks ago we spent an overnighter in A&E when she showed signs of another TIA, though tests and an MRI scan have shown no evidence of one. An unrelated TGA seems the more likely diagnosis, though it's hard to say because they leave no trace and have no lasting effects.
Obviously we'll report this at the next renewal but our question is whether we're required to report it now, with this year's cover already agreed and in place. The T&Cs aren't clear on the point and I'd like a sense of our position before making any call.

You are required to report it now , regardless of the outcome.

It's got them to decide if it's policy affecting

I don't think it's as cut and dried as suggested by Browntoa.  Our bank provided insurance states something along the lines of having to inform them of any new health issues before booking any holiday they hadn't previously been informed of.  Nevertheless I would call them to ask if you need to inform them and emphasise that they were informed of the holiday before the medical incident occurred.

Better to contact them than find out you have no cover if you need to claim..

Make sure you have confirmation in writing if they say there is no need to tell them.
