Home insurance miracle - current provider is the cheapest quote without haggling

My house insurance is up for renewal - my current provider has sent me a quote which is about 23% more than last year.
However going on comparison sites, the cheapest I can seem to get is more like 40% more than last year (using the same criteria as before as it's the same comparison site).
I guess I'll just let it renew then.

You could have a conversation with them to see if there is anything they can do... depends on how much you value your time.
