With my current car you seemingly need a computer to change the rear pads
My last car also had an electronic hand brake but there was an ignition / pedal sequence for backing the caliper off and resetting it afterwards.

There's usually a way around it. On my Volvo I could either remove the handbrake motor or wind the piston back in usiing a PP3 battery.molerat said:With my current car you seemingly need a computer to change the rear pads
