Hi I am currently selling my property that has a service charge attached via a management company. I have been asked for £430 just for a management pack as part of the conveyancing. Is it definitely my responsibility as a seller to pay this fee or should it be the buyers responsibility if they want the management pack ? Many thanks Mark.

Its all a negotiation... our seller paid the fees as we refused to and they didnt want us to walk away0

I think it is usually the seller, at least the last couple of times I have bought it was the seller who paid for this0

The seller pays for the pack. Management companies can be slow to provide it, so the quicker it's paid for, the quicker the transaction can progress. Bear in mind though that some of the information provided in the pack becomes 'out-of-date' after six months so if the transaction takes a long time, or you have to start again with a new buyer, you may be asked to provide an updated pack.0

You may require more than one management pack.
Do you pay seperate companies for your service charge (management company)/ground rent (freeholder or there designated management company) to.
£430 seems steep but i dont think its regulate so they can charge what they like.
