Of course some phishing emails only purport to be from the subject, you might be getting phishing emails that are not from clear score but claim to be from them...

Clearscore is a genuine company - it's basically a gateway to allow consumers to access their Equifax data.

But it goes without saying, you should always be slightly wary of any unsolicited emails or texts you receive that purport to originate from a genuine company.  Scams/Phishing emails are usually pretty easy to spot, though admittedly some are becoming more sophisticated these days.  The main giveaway is usually the email address it's come from - it's usually pretty obvious if it hasn't come from the real company.  Other common red flags are poor spelling or grammar, not addressing you by your name, or urging you to take action quickly in order to prevent your account being frozen or similar.
