To enter the competition, please submit your nomination to https://www.ebuyer.com/localheroes - The competition is free to enter (via our website: https://www.ebuyer.com/localheroes) or by post at Ebuyer (UK) Limited, E.Yorks, DN14 7UW all entries must be received by 23.59 on 8th September 2024. No purchase is necessary.
- By submitting a competition entry, you are agreeing to be bound by these terms and conditions.
- You will be contacted (via email or post) if successful as one of the eleven winners by 15th September 2024. If you are a winner, we will require you to supply a high-resolution photo of your nominated hero. The Promoter shall provide a photo consent form to be completed and giving permission to use the images within promotional, marketing and social media platforms. - End Dates
- The giveaway will end at 23.59 on the 8th September. The winners will be chosen and notified (via email or post) by 15th September 2024.
- Prize
- The prize consists of 1 x £5000 sports equipment voucher and 10 x £500 sports equipment vouchers. Prizes are non-transferable and no cash alternatives will be offered. The prize vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash with 3Q Sports or ebuyer.
- Voucher Use: Vouchers can only be redeemed at www.3qsports.co.uk.
- Voucher Delivery: Voucher codes will be emailed to the winners and can be used at the checkout page on the website.
- Validity: Voucher codes are valid until 1st March 2025. After this date, the vouchers will become invalid and cannot be used.
- Exceeding Voucher Amount: If your purchase does not meet the voucher amount, you will be required to pay the remaining balance.
- Prize vouchers are not for personal use but will be for the club or school the nominee is associated with.
- The competition is open to all residents in the UK (excluding N.I) with access to the internet, except: The competition cannot be entered by any employees of agents or suppliers of the Promoter or its holding or subsidiary companies or 3Q Sports, who are professionally connected with the competition or its administration; members of the immediate families or households of (a) and (b) above; or any third party directly associated with administration and/or judging of the competition.
- In entering the competition, you confirm that you are eligible to do so. The winners are winning their sports equipment for their associated club, not for their personal use. Proof of association with the winner’s clubs will be required before a voucher is issued by the Promoter.
- The Promoter will not accept competition entries that are:
- 1. automatically generated by computer
- 2. is not a genuine email address
- 3. completed by third parties or in bulk;
- 4. don’t make sense in the context of the nomination criteria
- 5. defamatory and/or contain offensive material; or
- 6. the Promoter reserves all rights to disqualify you if your conduct is contrary to the spirit or intention of the competition.
- The Winners
- The winners of the contest cannot be drawn by any employees of agents or suppliers of the Promoter or its holding or subsidiary companies, who are professionally connected with the competition or its administration; members of the immediate families or households of (a) and (b) above; or any third party directly associated with administration and/or judging of the competition.
- The decision of the judges nominated by the Promoter and the Promoter regarding any aspect of the competition is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it.
- The Promoter will make all reasonable efforts to contact the winner and the nominated local hero. If the winner cannot be contacted, the Promoter reserves the right to offer the prize to the next eligible entrant selected from the correct entries that were received before the Deadline.
- General
- If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these terms and conditions, the Promoter may, at its sole discretion, reserve the right to exclude you from participating in the competition. The Promoter reserves the right to refuse to award the prize to anyone in breach of these terms and conditions.
- The Promoter reserves the right to hold void, suspend, cancel, or amend the prize competition where it becomes necessary to do so.
- All our prize draws, competitions and these terms and conditions shall be governed by English law, and the parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
