The Parking Charge issued is for the sum of £100.00 and our additional costs amount to £60.00, no VAT is added on to this. 

But it should be added to the £60 'debt recovery fee' element.

Please now immediately report a VAT concern to HMRC.  As seen on loads of threads.

I did appeal initially, and I don't believe I got a NtK

I will have a search of the thread now and follow this up.  Are there any other steps I should be taking before the month runs out?

No. Just report them to HMRC. Copy what others did this year on that.
