I’m currently off sick and my full pay runs out in August and I will be down to half are there any benefits I could claim during this period?

If you're not claiming SSP from your employer have a look at claiming New style ESA. The look at your NI contributions from the previous 2 tax years. If you're still claiming SSP then you can start a claim for NsESA 3 months before the SSP ends. You'll need a fit note and your SSP1 form from your employer to be able to claim this. https://www.gov.uk/guidance/new-style-employment-and-support-allowance
There's also Universal Credit but this is means tested. If you live with a partner you'll need to claim as a couple. If you have capital of more than £16,000 you're excluded from claiming. If you claim both of these at the same time the ESA will be deducted in full from any UC entitlement.
Use a benefits calculator to check entitlement to UC.https://www.entitledto.co.uk/benefits-calculator/1
