Hello my mother is looking to go to USA for a holiday.
She lives in the UK and got her indefinite leave to remain from more than thirty years ago.
She still holds a Bangladeshi passport and not a british passport although does have a UK residence card.
How and where can she apply for a USA visa please?
I had attempted applying from the UK.
usa embassy visa and there is an option from where the visa application is being made from and there is no option of UK.
Any advice would be highly appreciated.
Thank you for reading.

Can't help with the US visa other than suggest she go to the US embassy in London.
Meanwhile - is she affected by the need to have an e-visa for the UK? There's something about needing this done by the end of the year. She may be eligible under the Windrush rules to update her ILR and residence card.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe and Old Style Money Saving boards. It’s just a standard non immigrant visa which you can do from.Select England, London as the location of the interview. Does that work?1

There is a question of where are you applying from for the visa.
There is no option for UK although there is Bangladesh. Mum doesn’t hold a British passport only Bangladeshi although she has leave to remain and a BRP.

I am glad to say I have completed the visa application for my mother.
The USA embassy have confirmed that the application has been received although I am unclear as to when and how I will get to know of the visa decision.

I am a bit confused as to how I would know about the interview date or am I supposed to be making an appointment with the UK US embassy/completing an application on their website.
I am sorry as I am dumb in these types of matter.
