Parcel undelivered

Sent an item Saturday 22 June and still not showing as delivered. Checked ebay and RM site.

RM second class small parcel sent from local PO (postage bought online)
  Parcel didn't go from PO untill the Monday!  I put ref number of "cert of posting" into ebay when it was posted.

I don't really want to contact buyer but cant stop checking.  Is there anything I should be doing.

Yes stop checking.

If there is an issue the buyer will let you know, a fair percentage (and it varies) of items don't seem to get a delivery confirmation, a quick look at my sold page on ebay for the past few months shows a couple of items where I have received feedback but item still only shows as despatched. I've got several more with no feedback (feedback is a bit of a rarity now) but showing as  despatched  over a month ago- so I assume they got there.

I rarely ever bother looking, I only checked as I'm packing solds at the moment and noticed this thread. 

Whatever you do don't contact the buyer, if there is an issue they will let you know.

Thank You! I will stop checking.  I have sold very little of late so its just automatic to check and then forget about it.
I understand for business people like yourself it would be time wasting to keep checking everything.

There will be a cut off time for the collection on Saturday morning, so if you dropped it off at the PO after then it would not be collected until Monday.  I don't think that is untoward.

I agree that it is best not to contact the buyer.  A certain proportion of parcels get delivered without the tracking updating as it should and yours is probably among them.

I do this - I put the tracking number into the Royal Mail app on my phone and cant help myself but to check every step of the way until the item is delivered!
I, like @soolin, have also had items still saying dispatched but have been delivered though.
Maybe I should just delete the Royal Mail app altogether! All I ever use it for is checking on delivery progress anyways!

I had one a couple of weeks ago that I was a bit anxious would be delivered and acceptable and where I only normally keep a casual eye on things was checking more rigoursly.  What happened was slightly different to what you had, EBay was still at despatched status whereas when I checked the RM app, more out of interest than anything, it was marked delivered, even with a photo.  So it was the link from RM to EBay that had broken, although the link worked to mark as despatched.
So always double check if is a doubt.

As I said in my original post I have checked both RM and ebay.  I always check both as very often ebay are playing catch-up.
