Sky v virgin

I still have a few months left on my sky contract but I'm interested in changing to Virgin.
I've been with sky for over 20 years and have no issues with the service just the cost.
With sky we have Netflix, paramount, Disney, discovery & cinema. Would I still be able to get these on VM?

If you opted for them yes.1

Be careful, Virgin Media customer services are atrocious. Have a look at their community forum, it may give you some idea as to what it is like to be a VM customer. Renewing contracts with them is a nightmare.

Whilst I did have one "spat" with Virgin customer services (which I won but took some time) I have otherwise found them fine, and renewing has been a breeze - I just find out the competitions best prices, phone to cancel and they ALWAYS beat it. I was also a Sky customer prteviously - for over 20 years - and left because of price and rubbish service (service dropping every few months and being charged for them to "fix" a service that never quite got fixed).Billxx said:Be careful, Virgin Media customer services are atrocious. Any forum is generally full of complaints. People don't post that they are really happy and nothing ever goes wrong. How many of those sorts of posts are on this site???
I doubt there is much to pick between any of them, so the best advice is to go where you get the best deal.1 -
If you're happy not recording and just using streaming and catch-up apps then have a look at Virgin's Stream box, there's no monthly cost unless you decide to add any of the various packages which are all rolling monthly and can be added and removed yourself with no need to call anyone up. The only caveat is that you need Virgin Media Broadband at the moment.Sortingmyselfout2024 said:I still have a few months left on my sky contract but I'm interested in changing to Virgin.

I have Virgin Media and am happy with them. I have also been with Sky as well in the past. If you get a good deal then it’s decent enough. Don’t let them sell you any O2 sims though as O2 are extremely bad to deal with. Their customer service has gone downhill since they were good years ago.I have Virgin TV 360, Phone and Broadband.0
