Thanks yet again for all the helpful replies, I will send them a letter or may just ring them, I'll decide when the time comes.
I forgot to mention that they got my first name wrong on the letters, I know this wont make any difference but it was a bit strange seeing a different name even though its meant for me!

Update:- I wrang today and was told I was not obliged to pay anything and after they had wrote their notes on the system explaining the money was used for funeral expenses I 100% wouldn't hear anything again (their words) and after 6 months the debt is written off, they did also mention that I wouldn't have recieved any more letters regarding this anyway.
Thanks for all the help and info regarding this, its one less thing to hopefully have to worry about.
