I have been trying to open a fixed rate savings account with the SmartSave Bank but I fail their digital vertification check. I emailed them and they replied
"As a digital bank, we verify your identity entirely online when you're
opening a savings account with us. We do this through a number of
electronic tools, one of which is by confirming your details through a
credit bureau/electoral register.
This isn’t a check against your credit score, just the personal details they hold on file for you - such as name, date of birth, address, etc.
As the check is done in real time we're not able to see the exact discrepancy however, moving forward, you’d just need to check the details on your credit file/electoral register are up to date."

My electrol register information is correct and I have now registered with Experion, who give me an excellent score.
Still cant get verified with SmartSave though !
