Could someone advise if this is correct please ?
Couple with one in receipt of IS and CA and one on ESA ( must be contributions based ? ) & PIP. The one on ESA reaches SRA and HB & CTS have stopped. Can the HB claim continue or do they have to claim UC ? If they need to claim UC how would they get LCWRA added as ESA claim has already ceased ? Not sure what rates of PIP are in place, I know LCWRA can be added if on enhanced rates.
Does it depend when HB was originally awarded as to whether it can continue for a mixed age couple?

If both are of state pension age then it's Pension Credit but in a mixed age couple then yes it's Universal credit.Lost my soulmate so life is empty.
I can bear pain myself, he said softly, but I couldna bear yours. That would take more strength than I have -

Thanks. Does it makes any difference when the original HB claim was made and who the main claimant was?Torry_Quine said:If both are of state pension age then it's Pension Credit but in a mixed age couple then yes it's Universal credit.0
