If someone parks their car in a site reserved for residents only is their car still insured while parked in the reserved area for tenants?

Depends on what their insurance policy says - are you asking about damage to the car that's parked where it shouldn't be, or damage that the car could make to other cars?

A vehicle is either insured or it isn't. Where it is parked is of no relevance.

Yes, of course it is.0

From an RTA perspective yes, from an own damage perspective there can be more conditions attached like it's a named driver driving and they aren't under the influence of alcohol/drugs etc. No insurer is going to exclude own damage for bad or inconsiderate parking (excluding damage done by aircraft)daveyjp said:A vehicle is either insured or it isn't. If they are persistent and have been told not to park there, try to get together with other residents to box them in.
