Hi, I am hoping someone can give me some advice please. I purchased a Northface white Hoody on ASOS in April which had black writing on front and black inside of hood. After 1 wash ( correctly washed the black dye had ran throughout the whole garment ). This was outwith 28 day return period. I had been abroad then away working when I got back. So I hadn't worn it. I took pics to clearly show dye fault, spoke with ASOS and returned the item. they have credited me with a credit note which I don't want. I explained the item has a clear dye fault and was told warehouse team had inspected the item and deemed it fine. Therefore credit note as treated as a normal return outwith 28 days and that is their final decision. Hmmmmm.........

How did you pay? Please be specific on type of card e.g. mastercard, visa, amex as it makes a difference.

If it was me I'd do a chargeback on the card if you are within 120 days.
Expect to provide details of what you've tried so far with the retailer.

We don't know how much it is, but there's always a chance that you will get the benefit of the doubt (it doesn't cost the card provider they charge the retailers bank) and that Asos either can't be bothered (write it off) or aren't organised enough to appeal within 45 days.

Thanks for your advice. Honestly getting nowhere with them and have offered numerous times to provide pics of the garment. Keep getting same answer, inspected by our warehouse team, no fault, final decision.
