Good morning. I didn't bother to stay up, just looked up the results this morning (and surprised to see a local change of MP) and I've had enough of it now
Raining 'nicely' (That is, constant and gentle) here and we really, really need it all the grass is brown.
My cat is hyperthyroid, diagnosed yesterday, thankfully he's happy to have his meds with some treats. My lodger bought a new car for £800, first thing I noticed was that one of the tyres is a different size to the other three, I hope there's nothing else expensive wrong with it. My own vehicle needs new brake pipes and rubbers for the MOT so that's not too bad considering it's 20 years old.
I have absolutely no idea what's for dinner today I need to rummage in the freezer6 -
Moring! So I had to google Ayreshire bacon, that looks very inviting. I have two slices left of back in the fridge so a bacon sarnie for breakfast it is! Raining so I've been doing the waterbutt checking and bucket and bin checking to collect it, so I'm a bit damp now...One more item moved, th little dresser with glasses and dishes etc is done. Next thing, make room for the table upstairs so th tumble drier can be moved. Then the fridge freezer and it's on to the garage. I decided not to venture out today, I don't fancy a soaking or driving in the rain and I have phone calls to make to gee myself up for so I'm wimping out. Well that's one job done, car is booked in for an MOT in August. Also there's a trip to the upcycle place today with some stuff for them thats cluttering up the hallway and I also need to book another tip trip.Coxy, that's ridiculous. Might be worth making a complaint to someone if they keep asking for the same stuff, different departments not sharing? Gers, excellent ideas, my preferred methos is not to spend time with children anyway
snoozer, enjoy the nap! TA, you too! dp1, glad she had a nice day and learned to fly
Allie, have a good weekend! SO, how did the walk go? Nanny, hope you're relaxing a bit...Izzy, happy almost new bathroom
Take care all, umbrellas at the ready...

Morning everyone just got in last cleaning job of the week the lady I clean for does lots of different crafts but doesn’t do sewing anymore she asked me today if I would like a brand new sewing machine it’s 5 years old but she’s only used it once it’s got a load of cotton with it in a nice case and instruction book I’m over the moon so I am going to give it a go never used one since school. I hung a load of bedding out before I went it’s all dried it’s cloudy but very windy and we are due rain all weekend. Bathroom is all done so I’m going to start at the top and work my way down and shift some dust in this house and the fridge needs a good clean out . Thinking of all the poorlies hugs to those that need them have a good day everyone whatever you are doing6

Good afternoon all
Happy anniversary Mehefin, lovely photo.
It would have been my Wedding anniversary earlier this week.
Walk and talk seems better than the café, more relaxed
Take careIf you walk at night no-one will see you cry.6 -
Happy anniversary Mehfin.
Went to bed after 4 - I am getting too old for staying up for election results but I don't regret it - so exciting.
Already taken my poster out of the window. We have a new MP here.
