Croatia - recommendations?

Options
Evening everyone. We are wanting to go to Croatia next May for our 25th wedding anniversary.  We are both fairly active and in our early sixties and want to spend a couple of weeks there and see all there is to see (within reason obv).  One thing we would like to do is go to Plitvice lakes but apart from that, no clue!  We are happy to go with an experienced travel agent with experience of Croatia and also happy to go with a pre-planned multi destination tour if that works out best.

Any tips or recommendations welcome.

Many thanks

I went to Croatia last year and booked my trip myself.
Flew into Dubrovnik, spent a few nights there, got the ferry to Korcula, few nights there, then to Brac, then to Hvar, before returning to Split and flying home from there.

Ferries were inexpensive and fairly regular.
Some beautiful scenery and food on the islands. Dubrovnik and Split were also beautiful coastal cities but very busy compared to the islands.

Have a look at Trogir as well - half an hour from  Split by bus and a much nicer place to stay.
All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.

Seconded. Trogir is lovely. I also spent a little time in Opatija and Rovinj.  All three are pretty, safe, walkable and have great café culture.
