It's cold but it's July - should I turn the heating on?

It's also far more likely that in July, people will be wandering around in shorts and t-shirts. First step is always to put a layer on if you are cold. It would take quite some time to heat up our large concrete Base with the ASHP so that's why we don't leave it on thermostatic control.
One downside to an ASHP and underfloor heating downstairs.
Not that we have needed it as the house has not dipped below 20oC but then again it is relatively new with a high EPC rating.0
