Hi any idea please if you have lost or damaged car keys the cheapest way to get a replacement?

Depends on what the damage is and the make of car.
When I dropped my Suzuki key it broke the plastic case. I bought a blank on Amazon and my husband rewired it with the innards from the old key, cost was £6 plus time/skill, Suzuki wanted £275
FIL got a replacement Ford key from Timpsons for £35 I think.
Hubby had to replace a Renault key that required reprogramming and cost £200-£300
