Samsung TV The Frame Art Mode QLED

Hi 

I would appreciate any advice in August 2022 I purchased a 2021 43" The Frame Art Mode QLED TV from Very. At the time I was recovering from an accident and I forgot to extend the Warranty with Samsung.

Today the TV has a think black line though the centre. I contacted Samsung and they said I will have to pay for a repair because I only had 12 months warranty. 

I was just wondering if anyone had any advice before I organise a repair.

    You can pursue the retailer (rather than the manufacturer) under the Consumer Rights Act, but would need an engineer report to verify that the fault is a latent one relating to a manufacturing flaw that would have been present at the time of purchase.
