Hi - I have just sent over AOS via MCOL and getting defence ready for a claim issue date of 25-Jun-2024.
Just wanted to know the correct email back to send the defence to. Is this ClaimResponses.CNBC@justice.gov.uk or previously provided email of CCBCAQ@justice.gov.uk
Thanks!

Le_Kirk said:Is this to do with any of your other threads? If so, it is best to post on an existing thread rather then starting a new one whenever a question pops up. But, as @KeithP writes, all answers can be found in NEWBIE sticky and/or template defence thread.0

Use the latest 2024 email address, the old ones are retired, the list is in the defence template thread2

I did just get an acknowledgement stating the below:-Thank you for emailing the Claim Responses Team in the Civil National Business Centre. Please expect a response to your enquiry in 10 days
When sending us documents please ensure you comply with the Practice Direction 5B
https://www.justice.gov.uk/courts/procedure-rules/civil/rules/part05/pd_part05b
Documents not complying will not be accepted, in particular if it is over 10MB or 25 printed pages in size.
I note that my PDF signed defence was over 10MB - would that be a problem?

Submitted with the reduced PDF size - will keep you all posted on this...1

just by way of an update - my defence was submitted/received on 21-07-2024 but I have not received a directions questionnaire yet. Is the response deadline 28 calendar days from the claimant?
Just this morning I received from the claimant's solicitor a copy of their questionnaire and offering to settle (but not my own questionnaire from the court).
Any guidance would be much appreciated.0 -
Sit on your hands and keep waiting for the CNBC to catch up, checking your MCOL claim history to see when they have posted the N180 to your address, which is when you can download it, fill it in and email it to the DQ email address at the CNBC
Time limits depend on many factors, no point worrying about them until your DQ has been sent to you
Keep following the 12 steps, bearing in mind that mediation is now mandatory, not optional1 -

Thanks all for your help. I finally received a copt of the DQ - one minor question I do have is on D - Suitability for determination without a hearing. I am assuming the recommended answer to that question is NO - then stating the reason why I believe the hearing is needed. Can somebody please confirm?0
