amazon.de return help needed - faulty item

hi guys

i puchased a computer from amazon.de and it doesn't function properly. so i have requested a return

i have to process a return label myself but there are lot of details i dont know and amazon doesn't seem to help either, amazon are saying send the return postage costs to them once they received the item and they will issue a refund...

i have the custom documents they have issued, but when i try and select a delivery service online they require additonal information i dont have;


for example vat number, eori number

I assume that the de stands for Germany if the customs declaration form is not filled out correctly it will be returned to you unless you live in NI where it is not required

Have you tried Google for how to return

Did you buy the computer while living in the UK, and if so was it before or after the UK left the EU? If it was after then I would have expected you to have received import documentation for the VAT and duty that was paid by you that may help in completing the return form.
