It'll depend entirely on the Ts and Cs of the fixed tariff which should be able to find easily thanks to Mr Google.0

As the SVT is free from exit fees, waivering the exit fees when a customer changes from a fixed tariff to the SVT (and then possibly onto a cheaper fixed tariff or to a different supplier) would be an obvious loophole.
It's almost certain they do charge an exit fee, no-one can know what it is without knowing the exact tariff you are on.Know what you don't0
