Looking for recomendations for a (CORDED) home phone

I am trying to help my Landlady with finding a new lanline corded phone but I am after some recomendations

we have recently upgraded to a new internet where the phone has to be plugged in directly to the router modem so we dont physically have a landline anymore part of new changes the government are forcing through to everyone in the UK that we have recently upgraded to

so we need 

1 - a (CORDED) phone that works when plugged directly into the router
2 - Big Buttons though not important but would be nice
3 - answering phone service

 my landlady has said that she has recently contacted out ISP & she told me that they said there is a service they can offer if we have a phone that can do the answering phone function

it is the answering phone she is mainly after

& the phone we was initially sent is a bit rubbish & was to purely test that our new service works

we litterally just got this phone 

ALCATEL F890 Voice TAM ATL1425253 Cordless Phone - Black & Silver

& it is in & it seems to work all good
