Printing online wills advice needed

Hi there, I've made a will through freewills.co.uk and I've printed it double sided but I'm wondering if I should print it single sided instead? I.e does it need to be printed single sided legally? I don't want it to cause problems later on in probate etc. I read that sometimes pages can be missed scanning wise later down the line if double sided. I haven't signed it yet as I want it to be correct first.
Many thanks

There's no 'legal' requirement either way - it's not invalid just because it's printed double sided - but the convention is to print on single sided pages.Fairydragon21 said:Hi there, I've made a will through freewills.co.uk and I've printed it double sided but I'm wondering if I should print it single sided instead? The only advice I would offer is not to print it at all and get one drawn up by a local solicitor. Except for very small cash only estates a will is to important to penny pinch on.

Thank you both- it is a basic simple will - @marcon I can re- print it single sided if thats better, although is this OK even though it isn't going to be bound into a book or stapled together? effectively would be loose pages together. Many thanks0

You can - just put the pages in a clear plastic folder or wallet.Fairydragon21 said:Thank you both- it is a basic simple will - @marcon I can re- print it single sided if thats better, although is this OK even though it isn't going to be bound into a book or stapled together? effectively would be loose pages together. You might suggest to the website you're using that they include this info. It's easy for those experienced in such matters to overlook that others may not be sure what they can and can't do.Googling on your question might have been both quicker and easier, if you're only after simple facts rather than opinions!0
