Not necessarily... Aviva offer an enhanced courtesy car option that is fulfilled by a hire car company so could be provided under that with it at Aviva's corporate rates or could be a credit hire referral and done outside of the policy. Only way to tell is either check the agreement or ask AvivaBEBELUCA2017 said:So it sounds like you ended up using Enterprise in their capacity as a credit hire provider then?
Aviva include hire car with all their Aviva Zero policies. But as they considered the claim as Non-Fault they saw no issue in ensuring I had a car required to replace ours.
I *guess* that if it had the potential to go 50/50 or Fault then they wouldnt have been so forthcoming.
I also *guess* that when I insure the type of car I insured, and I made it clear about the number of dependents when I completed the quote form, it might be difficult for an insurance company to not provide suitable transport in the event of a non fault claim.
Ultimately, I only ended up with Enterprise as Enterprise-Exotic (based in Runcorn) have three V Class on their books. So the plan was to give me one of them. Because the F1 was on at that time, they were all on loan. So the next best car was a GLS (7 seat), and that's what we ended up with.
Other than dropping off and collecting the hire car, Enterprise have played no part in the claims process.0 -
If it's covered by the policy then fault would make no difference at all as the same terms apply to both.mark_ashley said:BEBELUCA2017 said:So it sounds like you ended up using Enterprise in their capacity as a credit hire provider then?

If it's not covered by the policy then its credit hire and Aviva would only refer cases likely to be resolved as non-fault to their preferred credit hire provider.0 -
Ah I see what you are saying. Well it possibly was the latter then, but I am ignorant to that fact if it is.DullGreyGuy said:
