Morning everyone
Dull here this morning - we're forecast rain later, hopefully it will wait until I get to work.
Yesterday was cloudy until 6pm then the sun came out and it was really warm, so I sat outside for a couple of hours. I then dyed my hair as DDs friend took a photo of me holding her baby the other day and sent it to DD - cue a message back 'mum put a hair dye on it looks awful!' She was right though, it did.
I can't remember who said the tip about using purple shampoo on dyed hair the other day, but I've ordered some from Amazon.
Well, little one had another awful day yesterday. DD took her back to hospital as she was very constipated, the first enema didn't work so she had to have another one a couple of hours later - she hates having them and had screamed the place down. She's still not eating properly and still on her feeding pump all day and night. They got home after 10, so I rang school earlier and said she wouldn't be in this morning. DD will ring them later...hopefully they are both still asleep.
Eldest DD rang last night in a flap as her fridge didn't seem to be working, I said to turn it up and put her fan in the kitchen to try to cool the room down, as she said it was very hot. No idea if it helped, no doubt I'll hear from her later!
Right I have a few jobs to do before work so I'd better get on. Hope everyone has a good day x9 -
Afternoon! I got totally distracted after getting p super early and did a lot of gardening that doesn't show results, like getting the compost out of the bin, mixing it with some other stuff, clearing parts of the front garden and moving things, pruning things, I've just had my breakfast of a bacon sandwich [ it's deadly taking bacon out of the freezer, it doesn't last long]. I made kofte meat to cook for tonight and I'm just about to start some bazlama bread off for the koftes. now that I've found some yeast that works. Builder has given us two and half weeks ish to get stuff done so I may be absent for a bit or intermittent anyway. Lots to do, panic stations...dp1, poor thing, I don't blame her either, not nice for her at all, she has to put up with such a lot. If your hair is blonde, use the purple shampoo, it tones down brassiness. Gers, glad you enjoyed, it sounds very odd...Peony, we have a family of them next door, one of the little ones has taken to sitting by the back door waiting for food, that's the result of giving them all the leftovers and scraps though so my fault..Take care all today, hope the poorlies are not so poorly and the unslept are rested...Non me fac calcitrare tuum culi8

Made it back home OK. Only a slight hiccup when a tree fell onto the road in front of the lorry ahead of me. In a flash five men appeared out of lorries and cars, one with an axe, cleared the tree, chopped up straggly bits and shoved branches off the road and we were back on our way. Very impressive!I didn't do any shopping, I must use more stuff from the freezer so am feeling very virtuous.@DP1 - so sorry about your little one, she is having a tough time of it, and your DD too. I'm sending virtual hugs to them.7

Gers - that's very impressive! I'm imagining them all in checked shirts....
Little one was a lot better when she woke up, DD took her in about 11am and she stayed till home time...she'd managed to eat some lunch and did yoga attached to her feeding pump. Phew...
We've a massive black cloud sitting over us...no sitting outside tonight.5
