Good morning, thanks for starting Chrisca.
Another month starting already. It's fine here, yesterday wasn't bad either.
We went over to the caravan and put clothes in, so that's another job jobbed. I don't like to arrive on sites and have to start putting things away, I think it's better to do it beforehand if you have the time.
Hope everyone has a good day, take care folks.10 -
Morning everyone,Another 2am wake up, saw a fox cub come for a drink of water at 4am. It will be another quiet day, if my neck and shoulder feel better I plan on visiting mum this afternoon.
Take care.

Morning all, thanks for the start Chrisca. You're right England were extremely fortunate to get through.DS1 & 2 and DGC went to watch at their friends bar, There were plenty of other kids in their group too.DH dropped DS1 off so we had our meal when he got back then watched the match, prawn cocktail starter then ham shanks. We had to pick the kids up afterwards & take DGS back to his DMums, then onto DS2s and waited for half an hour with DGD until he got back.I plan to do some baking today, wait in for a delivery, pick DGS up later. It's dull but dry atm.Right I'm off to take pooch out for her brief walk. She got me up at 6, wanted to go out for a wee but is under the table asleep now
Have a good day all, hope your neck & shoulder improve Peony.

Morning folks and thanks Chrisca. I agree about England too. It's becoming a health hazard watching their games, my BP was escalating by the minute.
The sun is currently shining but not sure if it will last. Yesterday the forecast was for light showers, so I draped the washing upstairs. It didn't rain after all! Today's forecast is much the same, do I believe it or don't I?
Eldest DGD is on the move again. This time to her own place but I am worried about the rental price. I don't know how she will afford it by herself. She has been a constant worry to me over the last few years, even before she left for uni. So today the plan is to come for some of the stuff still stored in my garage. DD was taking her but her car is in the garage for what could be a big problem. So her other gran has offered instead. I don't think she realises how much stuff she has stored here. My suggestion of just taking the essentials to start with will fall on stony ground I expect as she always thinks she knows best.
Have a good day folks if you can and ((HUGS)) for all in need Take care all and be safe xx

Pinch punch too. Thanks for starting us off @Chrisca. I've had my hotel breakfast already, now resting and digesting.
The play last night was very interesting even with the hammy (but funny) acting. After the courtroom deliberations the audience were given 10 minutes to vote via an app. All my audience voted 56% not guilty, I voted guilty. Then, once the verdict was read and the defendant released we were played a video of the murder - and of course she did it. 😀 The audience roared!! Not high art but better than watching TV.
This morning I'll head home shortly. The chimney sweep is coming (he postponed the first visit) at some point, if I'm not home he'll let himself in. On the way I'll probably do a little shopping. There'll be both monthly and weekly banking to do later.Camelot has sent me some photos from her holiday, she looks so relaxed and happy in the heat and sunshine. No, not jealous!I hope that everyone has a good day.8 -
Happy July!
Scarlet - have a good trip
TA - hope you get your garage space back without any hassle
Yesterday was the usual weekend blur of jobs though I did manage a small amount of sewing too. No plans today other than a wander by the river with Bdog. Our builder’s noise and dust will be joined today by next door having some steps built plus the boiler man coming to replace out timer (cue me making an exit so barking doesn’t add to the noise levels!).

Morning all. The first of the month and the start of the second half of the year.
We're back from a couple of nights away in the Cotswolds, visiting Bourton on the Water - which was extremely busy with tourists, and Bledington - which was the exact opposite. I've done two huge loads of washing and now need to catch up with other household things.
I need to make the most of today as, from tomorrow, I'll be looking after DGS2 in his house on a Tuesday so won't be around to do anything at home. I'll probably make some little cakes today to take over there plus I bought a few play trucks that can knock around the garden at a church fete on Saturday.
Will have a read back but wish everyone a good and uneventful day.8 -
Morning all
Its overcast and dull here and meant to stay that way all day, I have some washing on the go and another load to go in after. Only Rob coming today as the other lady is poorly again so we will have a day at home and get the dogs out for a walk and then pop to M&S for a few bits to take away with us tomorrow.
I need to give the pots a really good water today and tomorrow and hopefully they will be ok while we are away we will be back Saturday so not too long.
Not sure about dinner tonight but will go and rummage in the freezer after this there will be something in there, DD is working a late shift tonight so just OH and I here for dinner.
Gers the play sounds really interesting, and I’m glad Camelot is having a good time xx
Have good days all and take care xx8 -
