euros in Irish credit union

hiya Folks,

I have the above, I seem to be having massive trouble getting this money transferred and converted into a British bank account. Can anyone suggest the best way to do this? I don't really want to go down the road of joining apps like Revolut..Any advice on how to do this appreciated. Ta

What exactly is the 'massive trouble' you're experiencing, i.e. specifically how are you trying to do this and what is going wrong when you do?

hiya, They are saying that it can't be electronically transferred to a British bank and that I'd have to physically come over and withdraw the euros or receive a euros cheque.

Just open a Wise euro account - they use a Belgian account number - and have it transferred to that using Sepa, which will be free. You can then convert it.
