I stuck with the template defence with my personal additions (as posted earlier and in accordance with the hharry defence that there was no stated alleged breach).
I have submitted and received a confirmation of receipt.
Thank you very much to everyone who gave their time and wisdom to get me to this point.3 -
I have now received the N180 and have a date of September 6th to submit. I have followed the link to download the same form so I can email it to both the court and solicitors of DCB Legal.
I saw link that said form is updated but not by anything significant however there is one change not shown which is that there is not an option to say no to mediation but rather section E requesting information for when I would not be available etc.
Is there now another step that mediation is expected and not an option?
Also, why is it better to request that (question D1) that the claim is not suitable for determination without a hearing.
Thank you.0 -
Mediation is now mandatory, as seen in dozens of other recent threads, it changed near the end of may
A hearing is always the best option in private parking cases1 -
I was looking at the main advice section so thought it hadn't been discussed as the thread wasn't revised/didn't discuss that as far as I could see.
I have since searched out threads 'mandatory mediation' and 'compulsory mediation' and all I can see is over and over a comment saying 'search out mandatory mediation' in reply but not any that discuss what it is (one did say phone call) / what to expect etc. Is it simply that you take the phone call and say that you don't want to mediate? Can you link me to any thread or advise please?0 -
not needed
you just say your offer is zero

It says on Newbie thread that DCB legal 'ALWAYS' backs out before hearing. Is this prior to completing witness statement typically or after that and court date has been made?0

Shortly before hearings. Why not read a few of the 300 cases on Umkomaas' dedicated thread?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
